"Zapotec Pillow"
Handcrafted Cushion, Handmade Cushion, Decorative Cushion, Textile Cushion, Wool Cushion, Oaxacan Cushion, Zapotec Pillow. This pillowcase is handwoven on a pedal loom by artisans from Santa Ana del Valle, Oaxaca. The natural colors are achieved using plant-based dyes gathered from the mountains and extracted from plants, leaves, and primarily insects such as cochineal, obtained from the pads of prickly pear cacti, through a lengthy process. This item features a cream-yellow color combined with Mexican pink, cream, and blue accents. The cushion measures 34 cm wide and 44 cm long and is made from natural materials. It has a Velcro closure on the back. Pillow insert not included.
This design holds great value as it is inspired by spring colors and crafted using ancestral techniques. By choosing this design, you are choosing authenticity and capturing the essence of something that has a life of its own. Through this piece, we transmit our emotion and respect for nature and our culture, thus strengthening the creativity of each generation. Whoever buys it not only possesses an object; they also become part of the story that continues with each piece, with each conscious choice made with soul.

The selection of colors and hand-weaving give this cushion a unique feel and a comfortable texture. This rug brings warmth and comfort to your home and creates an original and unique atmosphere. Use it for your living room, office, or bedroom.
Before shipping your cushion, we'll make sure it's very clean and in good condition.

RETURNS AND EXCHANGES
Thank you so much for supporting my small business. Due to the unique nature of the products in my shop, all sales are final. Please read the item description carefully and review all pictures of the item closely. I am more than happy to answer any questions you may have before purchasing. If for any reason you believe your item arrived damaged or defective, please message me after receiving your item and I will be happy to discuss options to address these concerns. Each piece is carefully crafted with love, and I hope you enjoy owning it as much as I enjoyed making it.

CUSTOM / SPECIAL ORDERS AND/OR MODIFICATIONS
The items in my shop are made in small, limited batches. If you're interested in a piece that's sold out or are interested in a custom option, please message me to discuss processing time and pricing.
Likewise, don't hesitate to ask us about making your dream pillow. It typically takes a week (depending on the size and design you choose). You can send us a photo or a link to the piece you'd like to copy.
Please ask for any changes you'd like to clarify before placing your order via Etsy chat.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS
Your cushion is made with care and attention to detail, and while it's designed to be used with love, I recommend trying to dry clean it or gently dabbing the stain with a damp cloth. Do not use bleach or chlorine.
If there is an odor in the product, it is not a chemical odor, it just smells of raw material, and it is easily removable, place the cushion cover outside in a sunny area for a few minutes and it will automatically remove itself.
Ideally, calculate the drying time for the first wash, as leaving it in the sun for too long could cause it to shrink a few centimeters.
