Real leather earring printed with a vanity license plate homage to bluegrass music. Yellow/gold print on dark blue Kentucky vintage style license plate reads "BLUGRASS" (and of course it's a plate from Monroe County, a nod to the Father of Bluegrass, Bill Monroe).
The design is printed directly to 3-4oz vegetable tanned leather with CPSIA compliant, eco-friendly inks, and then heat and pressure cured. Due to the natural variations of the animal hide, color and print may vary slightly from piece to piece. While the inks are permanent, over time and hard use, there may be some wear and slight cracking of the image.
Vegetable tanned leather will naturally darken with age and use, adding to the rustic look and feel. The backs are the unfinished side of the hide and are naturally soft.
Surgical steel French Wire Hooks (with rubber back) - findings, beads, jump rings, and/or coins may contain nickel or other materials.
The leather pick measures 1.5" high x .75" wide, with a total drop length of 2.5" (from top of hook to bottom of earring)
