What size frame should I order?

The frame sizes listed in our shop refer to the back opening of the frame (the size the frame will HOLD), if you do not want to add a mat we suggest a frame that is the same size as the photo/art. The viewing area from the front will be slightly smaller to allow for the frame edge overlap. If you do not want the frame to cover the piece at all we can size up the frame to have an "exact viewing area" of your dimensions. This request can be made in the note box during checkout.

Yep! Mats are free for frames that are 11x14"/12x12" and smaller, larger mats come with an extra fee. Please see the link below for more info regarding mats and reach out if you have any unanswered questions :) https://www.etsy.com/listing/626690044/add-a-mat-to-your-picture-frame-add-on

Do you make custom sizes?

Yes, for sure! Send us a message and we can create a custom order. It is helpful to come to us with the following information to streamline the process: • The dimensions of your artwork • Frame style and color desired Please allow up to 24 hours for a reply and refrain from sending multiple messages as it backs up our inbox causing a more delayed response.

How long will it take for a frame to ship?

All of our frames are built from scratch starting with raw wood, the process takes approximately 1-2 weeks from start to finish. *We strive for quality over quantity so sometimes things can take longer than originally anticipated but if you're needing your order by a certain date please let us know as soon as possible so that we can do our best to accommodate :) *If you're working with a short timeline please check out our In-Stock frames which ship in 1-2 DAYS! https://www.etsy.com/shop/signedandnumbered?ref=seller-platform-mcnav§ion_id=17273576

We can build frames any size however we are limited shipping wise. If you don't see the size you're needing please reach out and we can help point you in the right direction or go over possible options Larger frames (anything over 11x14"/12x12") ships with high-grade plexiglass for safety during shipping. Plexiglass can be omitted if requested.

This is a Rustic Natural*, handcrafted picture frame made from 100% reclaimed cedar that is 1.5" wide. Frame is ready to hang in portrait or landscape orientation.
We source this wood from local fence companies that are doing their part to keep the wood they remove out of the landfill. They bring us wood that has been exposed to the elements for many years, we mill it, and turn it into something beautiful.

*Rustic Natural means that we don't apply any sort of finish to the frame, the wood comes in a wide variety of colors and textures so this finish is a "mystery" of sorts! Wood colors can range from light grey/white to very dark brown/black. OUR CURRENT STOCK IS LIGHT TO MEDIUM GREY LIKE THE FIRST 2 PHOTOS OF THIS LISTING. :)

Choose between a primed artist panel OR glass and backings

For those who like the look of our natural rustic cedar wood frames but are looking for more control on the color/hue, we are offering these rustic cedar frames with toned washes: https://www.etsy.com/listing/1819176270/reclaimed-cedar-wood-picture-frame-with

We are currently able to build and ship these frames within one or two business days.

***IMPORTANT*** (Sorry, we know it's a long read!)
-Sizes listed in the drop-down menu are of what the frame can hold, we add about 1/16” of wiggle room so that your photo/artwork slides in and out easily
-The front viewing area of the frame will be overall ½” smaller than what is listed given that the lip of the fame covers ¼” all around
-If you would prefer we size up your frame a little bit and build yours with an “exact viewing area” of the dimensions chosen please specify that in the note to seller at checkout

**Included in each frame**

Absolutely love this reclaimed cedar wood! The quality is fantastic, the natural rustic character is beautiful, and it’s even better than expected. Arrived fast, neatly packed. I purchased several frames here already in the past and would definitely purchase again, they are always great.
