This plate can be used for food type items or treasure. I used an old cedar log with just enough erosion for imprint. The cedar tree was cut down on my property and aged for a few years. I love how much texture this plate has. The beauty in the wood is held forever in this plate. If only it could tell its secrets! This plate is very satisfying to hold and eat off of.

For 1 plate. All of my pottery is lead free and food safe. I have more of these plates in my shop.

It is made with white clay stoneware. I brushed an underglaze to bring out the wooden texture. I then kissed the edges with textured amber glaze and finally did a clear coat glaze. Cooked it til it reached 2150°f and let it cool for 48 hours.
Measures 10" long and 8.5" wide.
