• This beautiful, petite beaded bar necklace has 6, 4mm white freshwater pearls alternating with 7, 14k gold-filled round beads. At the end of the beaded bar there dangles a tiny 14k gold-filled sea shell scallop charm. The beaded bar is approximately 2 inches wide and the entire necklace is about 18 inches around the neck, perfect for layering as shown in the example picture of the layered necklaces.

• This is a very delicate looking necklace (but strong) with an elegant sea life vibe to it. Remove jewelry when washing hands, showering, or swimming.

Use a soft cloth such as a jewelry polishing cloth (Walmart sells for $5). DO NOT submerge jewelry into any type of liquid cleaner or water. Store in small ziplock bag in a jewelry box when not wearing your jewelry.

Gold filled is a thick layer of 14K gold pressure bonded to a brass base metal. Gold filled has 100 times more gold than gold plating and is much more valuable and tarnish resistant. It does not flake, rub off, or turn color. It can be worn without worries of an allergic reaction to the jewelry. Gold filled jewelry is an economical alternative to solid gold, and should last many years.

If you read my descriptions of each of my listings, the actual size of the item is stated, plus with this pair of earrings there was a picture of the earrings in my hand so you could get a good idea of their actual size visually, and there was a picture of the earrings next to an American dime to show the actual size compared to a dime. A lot of Etsy jewelry pictures are taken more close up so that you can see the details, so always make sure to 1. Read the description for accurate measurements of the item, and 2. look at each picture for the item so that you can easily see how big or small the item actually is.
