How do I purchase a digital pattern as a gift for someone else?

As the authorized customer of this product, only you may have access to its content. The best way to purchase digital patterns for a friend would be to purchase an Etsy gift card: https://www.etsy.com/uk/giftcards You can then add a note during the Etsy gift card checkout, linking to my URL, for them to purchase the item themselves.

I've downloaded the digital pattern PDF, can I share the pattern with my friends?

By purchasing my digital product, you have agreed to my copyright. This states that as the authorized customer of this product, only you may have access to its content. Only you can stitch the pattern. I’ve spent many hours testing/creating this product so that you can enjoy the sewing project. By sending the PDF to a third party without my permission you will be jeopardizing my business and my ability to create more patterns for you in the future. Please kindly send your friend in the direction of my Etsy shop or website to purchase the item for themselves.

Can I sell the finished items I made using your digital patterns?

Yes, absolutely! We love to support other small handmade businesses but in return we request that you respect our copyright which is printed on every pattern and is legally binding...

Are the templates supplied to actual size?

Yes, no need to re-size our templates they're supplied to you at the correct size as specified on the pattern - print to A4 sized paper.

Is the seam allowance included?

Yes, a 0.5cm seam allowance is clearly visible on all of our templates and the sewing line is also marked.

This is a 16 page digital document with step-by-step photo tutorial and ready to print pattern templates.
The dress and headband are designed to fit my 14" high Patchwork Bear but can be adapted for generic toys of around 14" tall. The exact measurements are quoted amongst the product photos.

Measurements :
Length from top of shoulder to bottom of skirt 21cm
Waist circumference 28cm
Chest circumference 12cm
Neck circumference 16cm
Headband circumference 28cm

It is possible to enlarge or reduce the pattern templates to suit. Using a photocopier it is possible to resize each cutout template piece by a chosen percentage. The original size is 100% and you can set a different percentage e.g. 125% to enlarge, or 75% to reduce. Just be sure to set the same percentage for each piece.

A full materials list appears on page 1 of the instructions but you will need approx 1 long quarter of fabric to make the dress as the skirt is quite full.

Recommended fabric - Cotton or silk dupion.
