What is the product made of?

Every Carruth sculpture is hand cast in stone. It’s made with local, crushed limestone, Portland cement and a couple other ingredients to give it the strength to last outdoors in any weather for a very long time. We do not use any resin or other fillers often found in other statuary products.

We use aeronautical wire embedded in the stone. This is a very strong and durable stainless-steel alloy.

Can Carruth sculptures be left outdoors in the winter?

Yes. We've had our Cat Birdbath (item 201), outdoors under a downspout in Ohio winters for over 20 years and it still looks great.

Do you make custom designs?

We do make custom designs, frequently for organizations. However, a minimum order is required. If you would like to learn more about Custom Designs & Licensing please send us a message and we will provide more information.

Do you accept returns, exchanges, or cancellations?

We will accept returns if we are contacted within 5 days of the items arrival date. We require the item to be shipped back within 7 days of its arrival date in its original package. We do not accept exchanges, or cancellations but please contact us if you have any problems with your order. We want to delight our customers and we value your feedback. Return Details: - Contact us via email or Etsy Convos within 5 days of receiving your order for a return authorization. - Returns must be made from their "Ship To" address and sent within 7 days of receipt. - Returns must be made in the original package. - Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs. The Society of The Honor Guard, Tomb of The Unknown Soldier commissioned Carruth Studio to create this stoic stone for the Never Forget Garden Project commemorating the 100th Anniversary of the Tomb of The Unknown Soldier, November 2021.
