How many dryer balls should I use?

The Size of the load and dryer performance will determine how many balls should be use. For small to regular-sized loads, 3 balls are sufficient. For large loads, 6-8 balls, and for extra large loads all the way up to 8-12 balls. The more balls you use, the less time it takes to dry.

Why wool dryer ball work and what is it made of?

Most people consider 100% New Zealand wool balls are the best. The theory behind how dryer balls work (wool ones, in particular) is that it can help prevent laundry from clumping in the dryer. The balls also retain the heat it receive from the dryer and therefore boost the drying process. Additionally, wool dryer balls help to soften fabrics when used in the dryer.

Wool dryer balls are 100% biodegradable + compostable. They're also 1,000x reusable, replacing the need for traditional fabric softeners.

Do wool dyers balls reduce static?

These little wool balls absorb moisture from clothing in the dryer. Maintaining a more humid environment, thus helping you get rid of static cling. In addition to reducing static, it also reduce drying time and fluff clothes. We recommend using 6 or more in the dryer for best results.
