SIZE:
Capital letters approx. 3"–4" tall. Total length depends on the number of letters, up to about 8" wide.
Up to 10 letters per patch. Need a longer name or phrase? Order multiple patches, or send me a message and I’ll help set up your order.

HOW TO ORDER:
Enter the name exactly as you want it stitched, plus your thread color, in the personalization box.

THREAD COLOR:
Choose your color from the thread color chart in the photos. All letters are stitched in one color unless you note otherwise. Have a specific color in mind? Message me and I’ll do my best to match it.

BACKING OPTIONS:
Iron-on: Can be applied to any heat-safe fabric (most cotton and blends).
Sticker: We use a heavy-duty sticker backing. Strong enough to hold on fabric but not permanent (caps, shirts, costumes, etc.). Permanent on most smooth surfaces (laptops, phone cases, wall art, etc.).
Not sure your fabric can take the heat? Hand stitching works great on delicate fabrics like tulle, lace, and velvet.

This is a delicate, handmade item that requires a lot of fine cutting. We cut the embroidery as close as possible to keep the background fabric from showing. If you have a fabric color in mind for where the patch will go, please mention it in the notes at checkout.

***DISCLAIMER:
Embroidered patches are for decorative purposes. They are not a permanent replacement for direct machine embroidery and are not recommended for items washed regularly, as the iron-on adhesive is heat activated and can break down in the dryer.

HOW TO IRON ON YOUR PATCH:

1. Lightly press the fabric where the patch will go, using a household iron on medium-high heat.
2. Remove the paper backing (if present) and position the patch.
3. Cover with a cotton cloth and press with the hot iron for 5 seconds.*
4. Remove the iron and let the patch cool for a minute.
5. Turn the fabric over and press from the back for 5 seconds.*
6. Let cool for at least 1 minute before picking up the fabric.
*Do not move the iron around. This melts and spreads the adhesive and causes uneven heating.
*Hand sewing the edges is always recommended for better hold.
