Everything you need to paint your own Oregon ornament, packaged up in one little box! To make this item, I start by drawing an illustration by hand. That illustration is then etched into birch wood using a laser--no two pieces are exactly the same, as the grain of each piece of wood is unique!--and finally, the ornament gets packaged in a box with everything needed to paint and hang it. Each kit comes with an instruction label with a suggested color mockup on the back, but it's easy to mix your own colors by combining shades of paint as well. With several designs available in a limited run from September through December each year, these kits make great gifts for anyone on your list--or yourself!

Included in each kit:

☆ One plain wooden Oregon ornament
☆ A length of baker's twine
☆ Three colors of acrylic paint in a strip of little paint pots (darker blue, lighter blue, and white, plus any other shades you want to mix up!)
☆ A fine-point paintbrush

☆ The kit is approximately 5" by 7"
☆ The ornament itself is approximately 3.5 x 4 in.
☆ The kraft box for each kit has a clear plastic window to protect the contents
☆ While anyone can do this kit, I think it is perfect for adults and older children. For families with very young children, I sometimes recommend they purchase a plain wooden ornament in the same design (also available in my shop) and have their children color it with colored pencils or markers, which also works great!
