Is pricing included in the packing slips for gifts?

For gifts, please be sure to mark the purchase as a "gift" on Etsy when placing your order to omit any pricing details. This also allows you to include a custom gift message.

Canada Shipping: Do you use Lettermail from Canada Post?

SMALL items/orders (such as scrunchies, utensil carriers, wipes & our single-layer baby blankets) ship Lettermail via Canada Post (no tracking, max 2 cm thickness). Tracking is available as a shipping upgrade. If multiple small items are purchased and no longer fit in a single envelope, then the items might ship in separate envelopes (no tracking), as a Canada Post Expedited Parcel (with tracking) or in a Canada Post Flat Rate Box (with tracking), whichever is most cost efficient for the customer. If applicable, excess shipping charges will be reimbursed once the order is dispatched. See next questions for additional parcel info.

Canada Shipping: How are parcels shipped?

LARGE items (over 2 cm thick) shipping costs are calculated by destination, item weight & volume with Canada Post rates. "Expedited Parcel" is used for standard shipping but "Flat Rate Boxes" will be used if more cost effective. Extra charges will be reimbursed when the order is dispatched. Flat Rate Boxes will NOT be used if "XPressPost" or "Priority" shipping options are chosen. As a reference, here are the sizes & rates for Canada Post Flat Rate Boxes: X-Small: 24.5 x 16.5 x 9 cm, 17.99$ + 5%tax Small: 35 x 26 x 5 cm, 19.99$ + 5%tax Medium: 39 x 26 x 12 cm, 24.99$ + 5%tax Large: 40 x 30 x 19 cm, 32.99$ + 5%tax See questions below for courier option.

USA Shipping: How are parcels shipped?

I have obtained CUSMA certification for all my products available for purchase in the USA. Those items will ship tariff-free to USA customers. All shipments to the USA will be sent through Chit Chats Canada and will be fully tracked. I strive to ship all orders plastic-free, with only quality eco-friendly, recyclable paper products. Please note that parcels crossing the USA border might be subject to physical inspection. If so, parcels will opened and closed back-up by other parties and might then include plastic tape and wrapping.

Courier delivery within Canada?

Chit Chats Select is available for Canadian orders to metropolitan areas (last mile delivery handled by courier). For reference, the cost to ship a parcel (over 2 cm thickness) can potentially drop by half when shipping with Chit Chats instead of Canada Post. If interested, please send me a message after the order is placed. Be sure to check your junk folder; Etsy conversation sometimes end up there. For apartment deliveries, a buzzer number will also be needed. Excess shipping costs charged at purchase will be reimbursed once the order is dispatched. For non metropolitan areas, I can potentially access reduction of shipping costs through Shipping Chimp which typically uses UPS. Please send me a message if interested.

Do you take custom orders?

Some of my listings are marked as Made-To-Order; they are manufactured for each customer only after an order has been placed. They typically offer fabric, color or size variations. Please browse through my listings; maybe I already offer what you are looking for. If you are inquiring about small design changes, send me a message and we can discuss options. For significant changes or new designs, please note that pricing can be much higher. Custom designs may require extra discussion time, design time, pattern creation/modifications, fabric procurement, order preparation, as well as testing and prototypes.

Do you offer local pick-up?

I am not offering local pick-up at this time.

Do you provide gift wrapping?

No, however all purchases are wrapped neatly in Kraft paper and are presented in a way that is appropriate for gift giving. For gifting, please be sure to mark the order as a "gift" when purchasing. This removes pricing details from the packing slips and allows customers to include a personal gift message. If you forget to do this before submitting your order, just send me a message right away and I can mark it as a gift from my end. Please note that USA orders might be subject to physical inspection when crossing the border. Any wrapping might be opened and closed back up at the border.

Do you ship internationally outside USA & Canada?

I am slowly updating my Etsy shipping profiles to gradually add more countries to ship to. It is a time consuming process. Some of my items might not show up as available for your country, other items might. This happens simply because they might be on different shipping profiles and they are not all updated at the same time. If you would like to purchase something from my shop that is not currently available in your country, or are curious as to what the shipping costs would be, please send me a message and I will get back to you as soon as I can.
