With its unique Scandinavian design, this star skillfully combines modernity and tradition. It's not only a magical decoration for the Christmas season, but will also beautify your home long after the holidays. What makes this decoration special is the option to personalize and fold it yourself. That's why I've developed a template that allows you to create your own Scandinavian star. You have complete freedom to choose the size and color, as it looks beautiful even beyond classic white. The version with holes gives it a more airy appearance and creates fascinating light effects, especially when combined with fairy lights.
The plotter files are included in 2 versions: "Fix" and "Flex", which refer to the type of fold lines.
-In the "Fix" version, the fold lines are designed as perforation lines, so that they can be cut out together with the contour lines.
-In the "Flex" version, the fold lines are designed as continuous lines. IMPORTANT: Special settings are required for the lines to fold. Instructions for Cricut Design Space and Silhouette Studio are included.
- A detailed and illustrated instruction manual in PDF format, explaining the assembly of the star step by step.

This plotter file includes a template for your cutting plotter to create paper stars. It contains two files: "North Star" and "North Star Holes". The download is available in SVG, Studio3, and PDF formats, all in a single ZIP file. Instructions are also available in English. Please remember to extract the ZIP file before using the cutting files. Please note that this is a digital product, not a physical one.

SVG, Studio3, and PDF files are included. Additionally, you'll find detailed, illustrated instructions in PDF format that explain the star assembly step by step. There are also instructions for Cricut Design Space and Silhouette Studio, explaining how to use the score lines and adjust the paper cutting settings.
The second download is an instructional video I recorded, in which I show you exactly how to fold the star, glue it together and attach the hanger.

Paper recommendation
For this project, I recommend a paper weight of at least 120 g/m² (construction paper). My personal favorite is Canson Mi-Teintes artist paper with a weight of 160 g/m².
The size is adjustable. In the small version, I folded the star to a diameter of approximately 20 cm.

Adhesive recommendation
I also recommend Tombow liquid glue. Although it's a bit more expensive, it impresses with its rapid bonding strength and high yield. Thanks to its precise nozzle, the glue is easy to apply and dries quickly and transparently. This makes assembling the stars considerably easier, as there's no waiting or drying time. It also prevents the paper from warping, and excess glue can even be removed simply by rubbing it off.
