This listing includes pattern and instructions for making a Baby Seal (Harp Seal Pup). The pattern includes pieces for the body, flippers, and easy instructions. I designed this pattern and many others and had them printed. My business name is Fantasy Creations (please check out my etsy store). The pattern was published in 1984. It is new and uncut. I can recommend this easy pattern for any experienced seamstress. The Harp Seal Pup was by far, one of my most popular finished stuffed animals in my gift shop. In the mid 1970s I also wholesaled them to Green Peace for them to resell for fundraising to protect the real seal pups.

I designed over 100 different stuffed animals and sold them in my gift shop in the early 1980s. I printed patterns for some of my best selling designs so that other creative folks could make these same adorable stuffed animals to sell at church bazars or give as gifts. Before I made the patterns I asked women who bought patterns what they liked and would want me to avoid. My patterns are full sized, printed on one side of the paper only, the instructions are in one area so they will not be cut up, and I wrote the instructions and illustrated them clearly and in simple English. The pattern is published on newsprint, not tissue paper.
