When your mixer starts smoking and / or running at one speed - one or more of the motor controller components are faulty.

Usually one or both of the capacitors fail - smoking and causing a burning smell.

You can fix it yourself in a few minutes rather than throw it away or pay for an expensive repair.

If you have just bought a second-hand A901 its worth fitting the new capacitors because they will eventually fail.

YOU DO NOT NEED ANY SPECIFIC ELECTRICAL KNOWLEDGE TO FIT THE PARTS, BUT YOU WILL NEED TO BE ABLE TO SOLDER. ILLUSTRATED INSTRUCTIONS WILL BE PROVIDED.
