The Small Pottery Bowl has a stunning combination of glazes to ensure you'll bring your dining table to your dressing table for your jewellery or use it for a sugar bowl!

This Ceramic Bowl is handmade and one of a kind. It has a soft green crystalline glaze on the outside with a glossy green lining glaze. The glaze has a watercolour-like surface, which is difficult to show in a photo. Its almost like water lily leaves shimmering underwater.
All pottery is food-safe and can be used in the microwave, oven and dishwasher, but we recommend you hand wash this unique piece.

Crystalline glazes have a firing process using a complex schedule with several temperature ramps to create different crystal growth formations. The kiln is fired to a maximum temperature of around 1300c (cone 10) and then cooled to specific holding temperatures to allow crystals to form in the glaze. It can take from 3 to 6 hours to grow the crystals in the cooling phase.
