I used Mikado fabric for this skirt in an example picture. I also suggest using flizelin adhesive to make the fabric firmer.
Look for non-stretch fabrics that are thick and hold shape: taffeta, brocade, faille, thick polyester, or linen canvas. Secret zipper- 25cm
