You wear them like a back pack - the straps are adjustable; use the little clips at the base to adjust the length of the ribbon.

When I put them on by myself, I let out a bit of ribbon to make loops for my arms, slide one arm through and use that arm to position the wings on my back (high between shoulder blades), slip my other arm through the other ribbon and reach back and pull the dangling end of that ribbon tight. Then I pull the dangling end of the first ribbon tight. If they ever get loose while wearing, just pull on the ends again to tighten.

If you have some one to help you, have them hold the wings up to your back, slide your arms through the ribbon loops and pull them tight.

When not in use, these wings can be easily hung with a decorative hook - or even just a command hook if you don't want to put holes in your walls; just try not to hang them in direct sunlight for extended amounts of time as it may cause the fabric to fade. The wings can also be carefully folded and stored.

The mannequin is only there so you can see what it would look like when they are worn by a person-like form versus just hanging them on the wall. I use a size 2 because it is the smallest available for adults and I don't have a lot of space to take pictures. The form is 13" from shoulder to shoulder, and the overall dimensions of the wings are included in each listing. If your shoulders are wider then 13", you should be able to use the overall width of the wings provided in the individual listings to determine how they would look when you wear them.

Fabric and feather wings can be gently wiped with a damp cloth.
Do not use any harsh soaps or chemicals.
Do not wash in a clothes washer or dishwasher.
The ribbons straps can be washed with soap and water.
Hang to dry!

Shipping costs for the wings are calculated using etsy's shipping application, which gives you a choice of USPS Priority and Priority Express for both domestic and international customers. The shipping cost is calculated by the package size and weight from my location to yours.

For Domestic Orders: USPS Priority mail is 1-3 business days and Priority Express is 1 - 2 business days

For International Orders: USPS International Priority Mail - 6-10 business days and Priority Express is 3 -5 business days

Yes - I can mark an item as reserved for you for two (2) weeks, however, due to high demand in September and October I can only hold and item for one (1) week.
