Malibu Boat Flag Holder/Mount for Tower

MALIBU BOAT TOWER (Orange/Rider-Down) FLAG HOLDER/MOUNT.
**Confirmed to fit & tested on the G5 Malibu Tower's Anchor Light Mount (not the tow/rope mount). MADE IN THE USA!!

++Do NOT use for flags larger than orange signal flags - it is not designed to handle the strain of larger poles or other larger flags.

CRITICAL - CHECK FITMENT BEFORE ORDERING (I don't accept returns on this item):
This was designed using a 2021 Malibu 22 VLX with a G5 Tower. **IF YOU DON'T HAVE A G5 TOWER WITH THE OEM BIMINI - I DO NOT KNOW IF IT WILL FIT YOUR BOAT. HOWEVER... You CAN measure your diameter with a caliper and see if this will work based on the following:
1. The G5 anchor light has an average (it's tapered) diameter of 61mm.
2. This mount can accommodate a 61mm diameter tube perfectly.
3. There is some gap between the two parts of the design so that when you clamp the two parts together completely, the total diameter goes down to 60mm. So if you have an anchor light that measures smaller than 60mm on it's largest portion - it will not fit.
4. You cannot mount this any other way than with the flag holder standing straight up vertical (see photos). You cannot mount it on a side tube/horizontal tube. The flag will fall out.
5. When warm, it may be possible to mount on a 62mm anchor light mount base.
6. It will NOT fit a 63mm anchor light base.(i.e. 2018 Centurion).

CONSTRUCTION:
*3D printed out of High-Temp ASA (like ABS). So, it will withstand sun and uv.
*Mounting hardware includes 4 bolts & a 3mm allen key/wrench.
*Brass inserts heat molded into the base to securely tighten your mount with bolts.
*There are 2 inserts for accommodating 3 sizes of flags. The base itself is one size and there are 2 more adapters.
*It was tested with various flags with plastic handles from 12.0mm to 12.8mm(.48"-.51") & a wood handle that was 10mm(0.4"). The very bottom of the base is 13mm so if you have a 12.8mm/larger flag handle - you shove it down to the bottom of the holder - as it is tapered.
*Pre-drilled 5mm (.198") holes in Adapters & mount if you want to screw/bolt in your flag handle (requires drilling hole in flag handle- or using wood screw, etc.).

WHAT'S INCLUDED:
2 Halves of the mount.
4 bolts with 3mm heads.
3mm allen key wrench.
2 inserts to handle a total of 3 flag handle sizes.
Only color is BLACK for now.
These are individually printed in a specialized manner for the material. I have to manually insert each hardware portion & do much finishing. Thus they are priced accordingly. MADE here in the USA!! By ME.
Rest assured, my friends who tested this have seen 3 revisions and love the final product for their Malibu.

WARNINGS:
Check your local laws. Some places don't allow a constant orange rider-down flag to be mounted.
Do not overtighten. It is plastic - not metal. Metal would scratch your boat. Just snug is enough. If you break it - it's because you overtightened it.

Please do your part and measure & identify what you have. I cannot accept returns because people have been known to crank down and crack the mounts - or stretch them out by using heat when they didn't measure properly. Then, I cannot re-sell them. No, I cannot custom build one for your boat. I spend weeks measuring, prototyping, printing, testing, etc. The old days of everyone having the same tubes are over... All this fancy new stuff is unique! LOL... I will consider adding more models as I spend time on the water with my friends who need parts like this.
