Snow Griffin Art Nouveau necklace ~ A gorgeous piece for a fantasy wedding or Ren Faire outing. Being a mythological combination of lion, king of beasts, and eagle, king of the birds, griffins were revered as very powerful and majestic creatures. The griffin also symbolized eternal fidelity. They not only mated for life, but if either partner died, the other lived out the rest of its life alone, never mating again.

The pendant measures 1-3/16" across (30mm) and the artwork is covered by a crystal clear, domed glass cabochon which protects and enhances the image for a truly beautiful effect! The necklace closes with a lobster clasp and has a 2" extension chain, so an 18" necklace will adjust up to 20", a 21" necklace adjusts up to 23", etc. If you would prefer to not have the extension chain, please leave us a note at checkout. We have 4 chain lengths available at checkout and custom lengths are also available at no extra charge.
