The dimensions written above refer to the internal dimensions of the mold. The stated dimensions show the widest part of the mold and the highest part of the mold. You must take into account the percentage of shrinkage of your raw material from which you will manufacture the product. It is impossible for us to predict all possible variables that affect the final dimensions of the product, such as; Your type of raw material (clay or porcelain), type of clay or porcelain, percentage of shrinkage of clay or porcelain, specific gravity of your raw material, wall thickness, firing temperature, firing length...and other unpredictable parameters. The stated dimensions are the initial dimensions of the mold and they are constant and from which you can start your own calculation. We are not responsible if the finished product is outside the dimensions you expected. You are not entitled to a refund if you refer to the above!

How to use Moldify molds -
If you are a beginner or researching what you would like to do, here we have compiled a small guide for you if you want to try!
We have researched and compiled a list of useful links for you. All the links you visit, you do so of your own free will, not a single link was produced or written by Moldify. If the content changes in the meantime, we reserve the right to exclude ourselves from the changes. The links are at the end of this text.
Step 1: Prep your mold and slip. Clean the mold, preferably with compressed air, if you don't have it, use a damp sponge. Never use hard or sharp objects for cleaning. Line up the two pieces of your mold and secure it using rubber bands.
Step 2: Measure the density of your slip, with one of the techniques for measuring specific gravity. Prepare your slip by mixing it for 3-5 minutes. Place your mold on flat and leveled surface fill your mold with slip, slowly pour your slip into the opening of your mold until it reaches the top. Depending on the desired clay wall thickness, leave the mold to rest on a Flat surface between 15 and 60 minutes (the time is variable and depends on many factors)
Step 3: Remove excess slip by taking the mold in your hands and gently shaking it for 1-2 minutes, making sure that the clay inside does not leak out. After you have agitated the clay, turn the mold over and shake the clay out of the mold. After you have shaken the clay well, leave the mold upside down to drain, it is preferable to set the mold at an angle of 45 degrees. leave the mold and clay to dry for 60-120 minutes. After that, turn the mold over, trim the excess clay from the mold. Leave it to dry as you wish, if the mold is simpler you can try to open it immediately.
Step 4: Gently and carefully release your casting from the mold, knowing that the clay is still in a leather hard state. The clay is very sensitive at this stage, handle with care.
Step 5: Finish your piece! Treat your clay casting with a damp sponge or if you prefer dry sanding, maybe use a sharp knife to gently remove any visible joins. Be careful, sharp objects can injure you and damage your casting. Some people use old credit cards to remove visible seams.
Compatibility of molds from the concept Red collection -
All molds from the Concept RED collection are compatible with each other, and by combining one of the mold parts, the lower or the upper one, with another mold of a different design, you get a different shape. You stack them vertically on top of each other, rotate them 180 degrees, and create different shapes.
How many combinations can be obtained from a molds -
The combinations that can be created are limited by several factors, 1. The number of molds you own from the concept red collection. 2. Your creativity. 3. Dimensions and shape of each cup model. The more plaster molds from the Concept RED collection you own, the greater the number of combinations you can get with each other. Do not forget that design is a subjective impression and it is different for everyone. Whether you will like the resulting shape or not is a matter of your taste. In some cases, there may be reasons that we have not mentioned here, and at this moment they are unknown to us.
Why use molds from the Concept RED collection -
Because by buying molds from the Concept RED collection, you will save a significant amount of money, because instead of 20 molds, you can buy only 4 and combine them according to your desire and creativity.
What is the quality of the molds from the Concept RED collection -
All molds from Moldify are made of special hard plaster. They are made by hand, professionally and of the highest quality. All surfaces are smooth, and after opening the mold, minimal additional work is required on the product.
Order cancellation -
Cancellation of the order is possible only within the time until we have packed and shipped the package. If you cancel your order, and we have packed your shipment, but have not shipped it yet, you agree that we will charge you 5 euros for the cost of packaging and the handling procedure during packaging. Canceling an order within the first hour of purchase is free. As we process orders very quickly, and ship packages very often on the same day, please understand that we will transfer all the costs we have, in the event of cancellation, to you. In the case of one of the above, we will make a refund to your account within 24 hours.
How do we pack our molds -
We pack our molds very carefully and thoroughly. Each mold is packed individually, wrapped in a 12 mm thick sponge film, then placed in a 30 mm thick styrofoam box, then all of this is placed in a hard cardboard box. All this for a safe and happy journey to your creative hands! Through your photos, we closely monitor what happens to the packages and what condition they arrive in.
How we ship our products -
We ship our products every working day, from Monday to Friday. Our courier does not ship packages on weekends. For some countries, shipping is also possible on Saturdays. Processing time is usually the same or the next day, it depends on the time when you placed your order. All our products are shipped with a tracking number.
Do we combine your orders -
Yes, since Etsy does not offer the option to enter shipping costs for more than two items, we combine your orders into a minimum number of packages. Price categories are up to 2 kg, up to 5 kg, up to 10 kg, up to 15 kg. If there is an excess of money remaining from the actual shipping cost, we will make a refund to your account. The usual time for a money refund is up to 2 working days or if you are located in the countries of the European Union, then the refund deadline is the beginning of the next month from your purchase. The reason for this is that we only know the exact cost of your shipping when we receive the invoice for the specified month in which the order was placed. In order to become eligible for a refund of excess funds for shipping costs on your account, you must purchase 3 or more molds. If you meet this condition, please contact us. In order to respect your privacy, we will not contact you first. Since many users use single-use credit cards or single-use virtual cards for online payment, we do not automatically transfer funds without your consent. Thank you for your understanding.
Combining orders and max weight -
The maximum number of packages in one shipment can be 4. If you order up to 8 molds, you will receive 2 packages, if you order up to 12 molds, you will receive 3 packages, and so on... The maximum weight per package is 15 kilograms. In extreme situations, if you have bought 5 or 6 molds, there is a possibility of joint packaging in one package with a monetary fee as compensation for additional packaging. If one or more molds are damaged during transport, we will not be held responsible in this case.
How long does it take for the package to reach me -
We ship the package no later than 24 hours after receiving the order. The usual time for package delivery is 24 hours and up to 7 working days, it depends on your location. Other factors that affect the delivery time are; Customs procedures, diligence and expediency of your local courier, bad weather, road condition, traffic jam, place of residence, small or large settlement and distance from a large place, seasonal crowd, current crowd and large number of packages from your local courier. We do not take responsibility for the mentioned factors because we have no influence on them. If you see that your shipment is stuck on one of the above factors, it is best and fastest way to contact your local courier. Try to understand that when you use the post to send mail like a parcel, it will never get to its destination on a certain date. Whilst the postal staff indicated a date/timeframe when the package will arrive, it's not set in stone. Try not to take it in a definitively way because it's an approximation, a guideline. In practical terms, the only way you will know for certain how long it takes to send something, is by you sending something and remembering how long it does take so you have a future reference.
Customs clearance of the shipment -
If you live outside the European Union, your shipment is most likely subject to customs clearance.
Customs treatment, processing shipments or holding shipments at the customs department of each country is different. Some countries process shipments through the customs terminal faster than others. If or in the case of a delayed shipment, the shipment stops at the customs terminal without reason, and, or the delivery is delayed due to this, it is considered that it is not our fault, nor can we be held responsible. Thank you for understanding. In the case of any of the above, it is best to contact your local customs office with the package tracking number, in most cases the process will be expedited. Each country has different rules and we cannot be held responsible.
Incorrect or incomplete data for shipment delivery -
The data you entered in the Etsy profile as data for delivery, and we consider it your name and surname, address and other entered data, We use only for addressing your shipment. We copy your data using the copy/paste method when transferring from Etsy to the program for creating labels for the shipment. When using the copy/past method, there is no possibility of error, partial transfer or wrong transfer of data. If you have entered wrong, partially wrong or incomplete delivery data, We will copy and transfer them in their entirety and We will not be held responsible if the shipment is not successfully delivered/delivered due to the above reasons.
Shipment tracking number -
All our shipments have their own unique tracking number. In this way, the shipment is easily tracked.
Lost shipment and how we deal with it -
In some special circumstances and very, very rarely...a shipment can get lost. Some shipments can be badly delayed but will arrive eventually. I provide refunds for lost orders only after a 120-day waiting period. Going through the international postage and customs system takes time and the smallest of errors can cause long delays.
Why is my parcel stuck in transit -
It happens that the package is stuck in transit longer than we had expected. If package was sent during seasonal holidays, such as Valentine's Day, Easter, Halloween, Black Friday, Christmas, or similar holidays, many carriers and postal services around the world are overloaded with increased volume of packages. Online shopping will have a significant increase in the flow of packages during the mentioned holidays, and saw significant uptick in number of people doing shopping online as well as increased frequency of purchases.
So, what does the status “parcel stuck in transit” means? It can be literal status or package just has not moved in a long while. Many times, when this happens, you won’t see a new update in the tracking system.
What "in transit" means -
When your shipment is in transit, it means the courier company picked the parcel up and your shipment is on its way to the delivery address. The package stays in transit until the driver/postman delivers it.
When parcel is stuck in transit it means that the package is no longer progressing towards its destination and it is either kept in one of the courier company’s depots for further checks or stuck in customs.
International shipping –
If a package is coming from overseas (other countries), it is safe to assume that delivery may take longer than usual.
Weather conditions or traffic – It is not so rare that during busy periods, such as holidays, or heavy snow, the parcel would take longer to arrive at its destination.
ts transit.
Why has my package not moved -
It's never a bad idea to contact us if you need more information about your package, but keep in mind that in most situations we know as much as you do. Call your local post office supervisor and ask them to email the sorting facility where your package is stuck and mention the city name and then this phrase " NDC Package Inquiry" (remember, be super nice and friendly and it may spur them on to help you to the furthest extent they can!). They might hem and haw at your request, but remind them that you've heard it's protocol.
NDC stands for Network Distribution Center. Large regional facilities that all “packages” (they do do some lettermail work as well) go through at least one, on most cases two. Mail you drop off at your PO goes to the NDC where it gets routed with other packages to the NDC serving the Destination Zipcode and from there it goes to your destination Zipcode Post Office. A Network Distribution Center (NDC) is a highly mechanized mail processing plant of the United States Postal Service that distributes standard mail and package services in piece and bulk form.
What's also worked for people in the past when they had a stuck package is to submit a USPS customer service form for a shipment problem. It just could be that within a day, your package would be located and sent on to its destination. Don't worry yet, patience is the key. It can be frustrating to wait, but your package will be delivered.
The tracking system -
The tracking is sufficient enough for sending the post, it's not stuck here, the system is telling you its last location. It doesn't mean it's not transiting to its next location. Only until when the package does reach its destination will the tracking be updated.
If you've come this far, it means you've read everything, thank you for that. If there is a question to which you did not find the answer, feel free to contact us.
