*****MERINO WOOL SWEATER KNIT*****
A collection of handmade romantic inspired minimalist loungewear and sleepwear that can also be worn as a warm base layer and layering pieces in a natural, independent designer wardrobe. Softest merino wool akin to cashmere, one can sleep in this wool it is that soft.
This textile is produced in house by our knitting machine, we then wash the fabric to "full" which has a lightly felted or boiled effect. It is then cut and sewn with sergers and sewing machines. The seams are not traditionally linked which allows us a lot of flexibility in shape and sizing. The weight is as a classic sweater knit, about 300 gsm with each wash having the variation of the wildness of wool.

This fabric is washed to fullness but will continue to shrink if laundered with heat and/or agitation. Wool is naturally antibacterial and is happy to be only spot washed as needed, it will naturally regain it's shape between wears, for this reason wool uses less water, has a smaller footprint and is more sustainable and eco-friendly than synthetic textiles over it's lifespan and yours. Speaking of lifespan when stored properly away from animal dander or soiled clothing your wool garments will last many years and also biodegrade naturally. Shave your wool with a regular razor if pilling occurs.

If you are hoping for a very specific length or fit please be prepared to have the item hemmed or altered after receipt. We try to fit true to size but will err on the long and large side to allow for this possibility.*

anything described as made to order in the title has a turn around time on production, this is usually 1-2 weeks but can vary through the year especially during the holidays. The listing will be updated with the turn around time in the shipping tab, our announcement page and also in the right hand side bar of the listing. Please check out the ready to ship items in the shop sections if you need something sooner
*****PACKAGING*****
Your order will be wrapped in simple kraft paper and a fabric ribbon enclosed in a small cardboard box or 100% recyclable paper envelope. We use paper tape which is recyclable on curbside and recycled shipping boxes when available. In the interest of saving paper your invoice will not be included in domestic shipments but a link to print your invoice will be emailed with your order should you need one.
The return address will be from Amanda Boyd not from Sandmaiden Sleepwear for confidentiality.
International orders we can include the gift card but not omit the invoice or gift wrap for customs purposes.

Return within 1 week in the original unworn condition. Restocking fees apply as described below. Contact us for an RA#
There is a 20% restocking fee on any returns that are "made to order" as described in the title. Please consider the ready to ship sections if you think you’ll need to make a return.
We don’t offer exchanges.
Shipping charges are non refundable. Return postage fees are the responsibility of the buyer. In the event we provide a pre paid return label the cost will be deducted from the refund.
Returns that are posted back after one week of receipt will be subject to an additional 10% restocking fee per week up to 3 weeks maximum in the event the item was held for a gift occasion or received when on vacation etc.
Returns with any odors or stains of moisturizer, perfume, smoke etc and/or signs of laundering will be rejected and sent back to the customer or donated.
International orders that are refused or unclaimed at customs will be donated, I do not accept a return on these orders but will re ship the items if shipping charges are paid for by the buyer.
Panties and sets with panties are final sale items, no exceptions.
Special order custom sized orders such as half size or split size are final sale items.
Returns must be posted back within one week of delivery in the original unworn and unlaundered condition with an RA# inside the package.
Returns will take 1-3 weeks to process. Be sure to include the RA# within the package to expedite the process.
