Remember when things were made to last a lifetime? This wooden toybox is one of those. I have 5 children and I know how hard kids can be on furniture. I designed this toy box to take a lot of abuse.

These toy boxes are Cabinet Grade construction. I do not use Fiberboard (MDF), Particle Board, Furniture Board, or any other type of flimsy construction material. I use 3/4" inch wood products for all components. The carcass is made from 3/4" cabinet-grade veneered plywood and then trimmed in solid wood. I use one long piano style (continuous) hinge to attach the top to the base as well as an added soft-close/stay-open safety hinge to protect little fingers. These toyboxes are constructed TOUGH (they weigh 45lbs) and shipped fully assembled. I build these with quality materials (that aren’t cheap) to last MANY years.

- Shipped fully assembled

- Piano (continuous) style hinges to attach the top to the base instead of flimsy two-screw hinges.

- Sealed with low-VOC clearcoat.
- Inside message up to 256 Characters (please note, the more text you want on the inside, the smaller the font will have to be to fit.
- Front carving up to 32 characters (again, the more characters, the smaller the font will be so that the text fits).
- The darker the stain you choose, the harder it will be to read the engravings from a distance.
- These are made with Birch Ply and Pine trim by default which is strong and beautiful but I can build these out of the following ply carcass/solid wood combinations as well to match your current décor (additional costs apply, message me before ordering)

o Walnut
o Red Oak
o Hickory

This item is made to look semi-rustic. There will be variations in wood, knots, visible pin nail holes, and other small imperfections but they are beautiful.

IMPORTANT: We will stain these any color from the list provided in the photos and options but keep in mind, the darker stain you choose, the harder it will be to read the engravings.
