CARE INFORMATION AND INSTRUCTIONS:
In order to maximize the longevity of my jewelry, I recommend no contact with water including showers, pools, and natural bodies of water. Repeated exposure to water can cause beading wire to corrode and rust, and weaken the crimps and glue as well. Gemstones experience a variety of effects when exposed to water such as cracking, flaking, dissolving, and discoloration. Contact with chemicals present in skincare products and perfumes can also cause these effects as well. Minimization with these chemicals can easily be avoided by applying products and letting them dry and putting on your jewelry last during your routine. I also recommend removal of any jewelry during strenuous physical activities such as exercising or sports for safety and durability reasons.
Please keep in mind that everyone creates sweat and oils on their skin that react with nearly all metal alloys and cause tarnishing over time. Due to unique body chemistry, some people may even notice their jewelry tarnishing quicker than normal. If you happen to live in a place with frequently high humidity you may notice your jewelry tarnishing quickly as well. I include a small polishing cloth with every purchase that can be used to buff away any tarnishing that happens gradually.
