I painted this primitive design on a 2 x 4 board.
It is based in antique white over black and given a distressed finish. Its primitive design features a primitive pear, saltbox houses, primitive sheep, primitive stars, black crow, a quilt out on the line and a weeping willow tree. It is topped off with a black primitive handle with a piece of homespun fabric tied to it. So many places to put this block..... table, shelf, windowsill, tuck in an open cupboard, countertop, sit in a shallow tray with your other primitives. Place it anywhere you please!

Please allow for slight variations, as each piece of wood I acquire has its own unique markings and features. Homespun fabric tie color will vary depending on availability. If you need a specific color, please leave me note in your order.

Sealed with a quality matte sealer.
