“This item “blew me away.!” It is so gorgeous and when I first saw it I knew I had to have it! I have hung on my daughter’s Tree of Life. I lost her at age 27 from a catastrophic complication of epilepsy which she developed at age 19. Nine neurologists (in total) withheld ALL education about Sudden Unexpected Death in Epilepsy from her (most importantly the absolute necessity for monitoring because her seizures only occurred at night). Her death was completely avoidable. Her horror story is on the North American SUDEP Registry under “Our Stories” which I would encourage anyone who reads this to take a look at. There are a dozen or so other equally tragic stories. Her name was Chelsea and since she was a “beach baby,” born in Panama City, FL, this ornament could not be more beautiful or perfect. She also LOVED dragonflies!”

One of a kind, dragonfly Christmas ornament. Each individual decoupaged oyster shell ornament is adorned with gold wire and sparkly beads.

Dragonflies are said to be guardian angels and reminders that our deceased loved ones are nearby. These dragon fly ornaments are thus perfect sympathy gifts or memorial gifts for someone who has recently lost a loved one.

Each oyster is unique and special and like no other in the world.

Ornament size varies from 3 to 5 inches long. The back of the ornament has been kept in its natural state.

Shells are hand-picked from CT coastline beaches and crafted in my bayside studio. They come in a sturdy craft gift box with crinkly paper that is perfect for storing when not in use.
