Our products are mostly made from natural materials that change with temperature and humidity changes. Warping does often occur with our birch wood products. We recommend storing in an air conditioned space at a constant temperature on a flat surface with weights on top, heavy books or weight sets are ideal. This will help minimize any warping that can occur with our natural birch products.

We don't provide gift wrapping. Our material ships in standard cardboard boxes that are sealed with water activated, fiber-glass strand reinforced kraft tape. Our maximum size box is 50 pieces, if you have an order larger than 50 pieces this will ship in multiple boxes under a multi-package UPS label. All of our laser material ships via UPS due to the weight, no PO boxes permitted for laser material.

Each laser cutter is different, in general to cut 1/8 material if you have a laser machine below 80 watts you will need to make multiple passes to properly cut thru the material. We have found that multiple passes at a higher speed at 100% power usually results in a better cut with reduced soot and scorch marks. We have also found that a laser cutter that was known to cut well and is now not cutting as well is usually due to the machine optics/fan not being properly cleaned as well as focusing issues on the material. Please check out the various forums for cutting recomendations for your particular laser cutter model.
