This stunning necklace features a string of stunning multicoloured spinel. Inspired by nature, the stones seem to emit a mysterious gradient palette of soft colours, such as brown, red, pink, and purple which glow when exposed to sunlight creating a magical effect.

Spinel is a transparent to opaque gem, with colours as vivid as ruby-like reds, some darker "brick" red, and some almost orange. Spinel also comes in blue which varies from deep blue tending towards grey, and some with a violet tinge. Shades of yellow, some incredible pinks, lavenders, purples, and blue greens. The fabulous range of colours in spinel is due to the presence of trace elements. Red is produced when chromium replaces aluminium, and for the blue colour, iron and sometimes cobalt is present.

Please note that the gold chain is not included in this listing. This listing is exclusively for one spinel necklace, which can be beautifully paired with your existing chains or necklaces.

This necklace is an absolute show stopper without being too chunky or taking away from the other pieces I like to wear. The gradient of spinel is beautiful in color and well thought out in design. I opted for the solid gold additions and they add the perfect amount of weight and sparkle amongst the beautiful stones. I love how this layers with my other jewelry and how the colors compliment everything I wear. I could not be happier with this purchase or the attention to detail these artisans have put in their work. This will be a staple of my collection forever.
