This listing is for a single, handmade ceramic, wax/oil burner in our smooth cream glaze. Each piece is unique and will have different markings within the glaze which are to be embraced. This piece is to be used with a tealight and oil/wax melts in the top to diffuse scent.

Care

Ceramics are fired to 1260 degrees and therefore are suitable to be microwaved or washed in a dishwasher.

Once the candle has burned completely, place cup in boiling water to remove remainer of the wax and wash.

How it is made

All ceramics are handmade in my pottery studio in Berkshire, UK. The pottery is made in small batches of around 30 pieces and if carefully formed over a two day period. After the pieces have dried for a week, they are then fired to 1000 degrees Celsius in my kiln. I then mix my glazes from powders before dipping and pouring the ceramics to create beautiful glaze patterns. The ceramics is then fired again to 1260 degrees Celsius.
