This listing is for our PRINTABLE plans for our 8-ft x 10-ft Chicken Tractor! This moveable chicken coop was designed to keep costs low, be easily converted between use for meat birds or egg laying chickens, and also to be easy to clean (just move forward to fresh ground, and voila, a clean coop!) These plans were written by real homesteaders who actually built two of these coops for our own small homestead almost 4 years ago! We still use them to this day - one for our egg laying flock & the other for our meat birds. :)

Our chicken tractor...
-uses a cattle panel design for the main structure to save on lumber costs
-provides an "open air" front and back design to provide excellent ventilation for your flock
-utilizes low cost & functional bucket nesting boxes
-has nesting boxes & roosting bars that are removeable or can even be omitted altogether to convert for use with meat chickens
-uses an easy to use wheel design to make the coop moveable
