Who doesn't love the elegance of a dainty seahorse bobbing along in the sea? I wanted to use it as a subject for a 'romantic' and beautiful cover that will be appreciated by teenage girls and adults. The seahorse is a shy creature and this is mimicked by the fact that it almost blends in with the pink background colour [which is repeated on the back of the cover, without the design]. I have used shiny and coloured guttas to give a feel of luxury and sophistication with areas picked out in a lace effect for added emphasis. I love this design so much that i'm sure i will be experimenting with other colourways. Watch this space! 40cm square. Great Christmas present for her.
