German Flag Gnome plant sitters to keep your plants/gardens company! Folklore is the Gnome will protect your family and home from misfortune and bring good luck! After travelling Sweden/Norway/Eastern Europe tracking my Scandinavian/Eastern Europe heritage I fell in love with Gnomes and once home I found my Swedish grandmothers fabrics (doilies) to make a unique pattern on the back side of each Gnome.

Please note the art of ceramics creates a slightly different piece each time. Size and dimensions are not exact but a close approximate. Country flags on each Gnome hat and backside will be unique/different on each Gnome. Glazes shown are an excellent representations of each color but may vary slightly.

Please see photo of approximate size of each Gnome. Your Gnome on a garden stake will sit the highest in your planter and have the beard most visible in your planter/garden.

Gnomes are sold individually.

Gnomes on stakes (coated metal re-bar) are adhered with an industrial strength glue (E600) which holds up extremely well outside. I would not recommend keeping them outside in cold/snow weather climates!

Gnomes are slabbed rolled with a mid range clay and fired to cone 5 after using a staining technique and glazing.
