Bring an atmospheric light into your living room with this lantern in the design of an authentic half-timbered house. You can easily place an electric tea light inside through the opening at the back. The village is perfect for decorating a mantelpiece, windowsill or side table. Decide for yourself whether you want the village to be classic or more modern.

Thanks to the well considered design, the house can easily be folded flat so that it can be stored away when not in use!

The cutting files are available in the common file formats SVG and DXF, which can be cut with the cutting machines of the manufacturers Cricut and Silhouette and others. The file can be downloaded after purchase.

Due to the filigree structure of the framework, it is suitable for advanced and ambitious beginner hobbyists. I also recommend a dispensing bottle with a fine tip for glue application for this project.

All steps for making are described with pictures in a separate tutorial in PDF format. The tutorial is wirtten in german and english.
All files are combined zip files. Please unzip the file after downloading to have access to all files.

The files are optimized for the use with cutting machines. The import and sizing of the files into Cricut Design Space, Silhouette Studio and Brother Canvas Workspace are described in the instructions.

This is a digital product that will be made available for download directly after purchase. This package provides the files for cutting and the instructions for making the boxes not the finished product!

The size of the components is slightly scalable. Resizing for Cricut, Silhouette and Brother is described in the instructions.
For the house there are two cuts included:
- two-part house: Can be cut from A4 or Letter (8.5 x 11") format
- one part house: Can be cut from A3 or Ledger (11 x 17") format

Using the original dimensions, the project has following dimensions:

You will need for each

- cutting machine or printer and scissors
- cardstock A4/Letter (2x) or A3/11x17" (1x)
- colored paper in different colors (A4/Letter)
- liquid adhesive (I recommend a fine tip glue applicator) and any adhesive
