Tippi Hedren, The Birds...
This is truly a favorite of mine. Saturday in my childhood was time for Creature Double Feature. I was always excited when it was an Alfred Hitchcock Classic
Inspired by the mischievous jokester/ socialite Melanie Daniels as played by Tippi Hedren in the 1963 film "The Birds"
Her signature french twist would normally convey her polished look if it weren't for the two wild crows swooping down on her.

This wig is a synthetic lace front. The color is your classic cool Hitchcock blonde.
The wig is meant to appear disheveled. The two Styrofoam and feather"crows" are secured with poly horse hair braid, metal hair pins as well as high tension bob pins.
It is suggested with the large "crow" in the front, that when you secure the wig to your wig prep that you have a good pin curl under where the crow is placed on the wig and pin into that to help keep things in place.
With the large crow, you will have to insert the wings where directed. The wing span is too wide for shipping. So some minor assembly required.

The cap of the wig is constructed with wefts.
It is adjustable at the nape with elastic and hooks.
3 metal combs are sewn into the cap for added security.
The lace should be cut to suit the wearer.
