Beautiful custom-made cufflinks with the actual footprints of your child - to be worn with pride by a loving dad.

THIS IS HOW IT WORKS:

As soon as we receive your order, we will send you two footprint kits with detailed instructions. In each kit is enough material for several footprints (depending on the size of the prints, between 2 for adults and 6-8 for children) so you can "practice" a bit. We will use the best ones for your personalized jewellery - of course, you can also mark your preferred prints directly on the kit.

We craft your personalized cufflinks with lots of love for detail. We transfer your footprints threedimensionally into the silver so the varying depths of the soles and toes are visible. This process is unique because we have developed it ourselves - so there is nowhere else you will get jewelry that looks like ours: as if your child had actually left their footprints directly in the silver (only in miniature size).

Depending on the time the postal service takes for delivery (three ways: print kit to you and back to us & jewellery to you) and on how much time you need to take the prints, you will receive your custom cufflinks about 9-14 weeks after placing your order. You'll see, it's absolutely worth the wait!

We package your jewelry carefully, with a complimentary polishing cloth and some recommendations for everyday care, so everything gets to you safely and remains beautiful for a long time.

PERSONALIZATION:

A engraving (such as names and a date on the back of the pendant) is included in the price. Please see a selection of our engraving fonts here: https://www.etsy.com/listing/160961275/custom-engraving-special-sign-symbol.

We can realize almost all of your engraving wishes, including signs and symbols (such as the infinity sign, sun, star, heart etc.), engravings on a round line (e.g. around the print) and personal dedications.

Please note your wishes for the engraving (text and placement), if any, with your order. You can also write your wishes on the checklist your receive with your print kit and mail it back to us - or simply email/ convo us directly.

>> Please note that, due to the cufflink mechanisms on the back side, there is only little space for engravings. A name engraving on the front below the footprint is possible as well. *** Materials: for the part of the cufflinks with the prints, we use 935 silver. The cufflink mechanisms are made of sterling silver (925).

SHIPPING & HANDLING:

Shipping & handling costs for international orders include the following:

- mailing the print kits to you (not trackable)
- mailing the final piece of jewelry to you (trackable)
- as well as all packaging material (you can use the package in which you receive the print kit from us for sending it back as well).

Please note that on international orders, we do not include postage labels for sending your print kit back to us, i.e. you will need to cover these costs yourself.

Unfortunately, mailing print kits back & forth can be quite costly, especially when sending them overseas. Please contact us if you would prefer to acquire your own print kit in your local area instead of receiving it from us. There are alternatives that we can work with.

We usually ship print kits 1-3 working days after receiving your payment. Shipping times vary between 3 days to Austria and up to 3 weeks outside of Europe. From experience, shipping times to the U.S. and Canada are estimated to be around 1.5 - 2 weeks.

The jewelry will be shipped about 8 weeks after we receive your prints. We will contact you as soon as your prints arrive at our place so you know when you can expect the jewelry to be ready.

After placing your order, you will first receive the print mass from us with which you can take several prints of hands, feet, fingers, paws, or hooves of your loved ones. Detailed instructions are, of course, included. You can also find our instruction videos on YoutTube: http://bit.ly/foya-impressions-instructions. You can also provide your own imprints in fimo or gypsum or take a "negativ" of your original using our print kit.
You mail the prints back to us and we will choose the best one(s) for your jewelry. Crafting your jewelry usually takes about 8 weeks, custom orders may take a bit longer. We will notify you when your prints have arrived and also as soon as your jewelry has been shipped (including tracking information).
If you need a personal gift quickly, we have various options for gift vouchers (via eMail or gift-wrapped with a print kit).

Yes, you are welcome to provide your own print material, it may help speed up the process and you will receive a small discount if you don't need our print kit (shipping costs are lower, too). We can work with any kind of prints that have depth, i.e. in clay, fimo, gypsum, algenate, or even salt dough. Our own print kits are orthopedic impression foam that can, in most cases, be obtained locally, too (or simply order a box of biofoam on Amazon).

We also work with imprints on paper or photographs of imprints in sand, snow, or any other impression material. We can even work with photographs of actual hands, feet, or paws. We will simulate the depth of the imprints to stay as true to our special 3D style as possible.

Yes. We archive your prints for two years (if you want to, even longer/ unlimited) and you will receive a discount on re-ordering (or on orders with several pieces at once with the same prints). Please get in touch if your print is already in our archive so we can set up a custom order for you that takes this discount into account.

For hand, foot, paw, and hoofprints, we will make your prints small enough to fit your chosen piece of jewelry nicely (and leave room for an engraving, if you like). If you have several prints on one piece, we usually shrink them in size proportionally, so you can recognize size differences easily. If we feel that proportional shrinking would not result in a nicely looking design, we will contact you and agree on different sizes.

Fingerprints are transferred approximately in original size.

There is no limitation to hand and footprints, but we would like to point out that, in order to get a good print, you will have to apply some pressure on the little hands and feet - so if you have a newborn and you are hesitant, we recommend that you wait until your child is at least 3 months old. If the prints are too shallow, they will not result in the jewely you expect (and that we would like to provide). Taking baby prints is generally possible, though, and we've made jewelry with newborns' prints before.

For fingerprints, babies often do not have the necessary depth of the little fingerprints that is needed to make them well visible in the jewelry. You can go ahead and use stamp ink or pencil & clear tape to try it out - if you get a good fingerprint, please get in touch with us anytime.

All of our jewelry can be made not only in 935 silver, but also in gold (red, yellow, white) in various alloys (9K, 14K, 18K etc.), stainless steel, platinum and others. Please ask for a custom quote if you are interested in any of these materials. We can also set small stones (such as diamonds, amethysts, and rubies) if you like.

All our jewelry is nickel free.

For almost all of your jewelry, an engraving in one of our standard fonts is included in the price. Please let us know your preferred font, placement, and text you would like to have engraved right when you order, thank you.

We offer a number of engraving fonts, but we are not limited to them. If you would prefer to use your own handwriting or a font of your choice that is freely available on the Web, if you would like to have your children's sketches engraved or a particular sign or symbol, please contact us before you order. We can realize almost all engraving wishes as a "custom engraving" (at 25,- to 50,- Euro, depending on the design) and we even help you design your own motives at an extra fee (depending on the complexity of the design).

Yes, we work with prints on paper (for example, baby footprints on birth announcements or paw prints taken in ink as a memento of a deceased pet) as well as photos of hands, feet or paws, and also photos of prints in footfall foam, snow, sand or the like. We then model the depth slightly to stay as true as possible to our particular 3D style.

For fingerprints, we always work with prints on paper, because this allows us to transfer a larger part of the print into your piece of jewelry.

You should first find an opportunity to secretly take the imprints for your jewelry (we can send the print material to a different address if you like). Please take our crafting time of at least 8 weeks plus international shipping times into account. Time is short already? A great alternative is to give our impression kit as a gift. It's fun (and also easier) to take the imprints together with the person who will receive the jewelry. We are happy to provide you with our personalized gift box with chocolate and a big orange bow, it's available at a small surcharge together with your print kit. I highly recommend this very professional shop . They listen carefully to what you want and help with the overall design. I have gotten two gold rings with my fur babies prints on them. The quality of work is the very best. I wear both rings proudly everyday & recommend Foya . I recently ordered a gold pandora bead for a necklace with both babies paw prints on it . Words can’t express how happy I am with the order and the seller. I am very happy with the 14k gold paw print ring. I saw their work on their website, but I wasn’t seeing any gold bands with custom paw prints. The details in their work was the best I had seen but I wanted it in gold so I searched the web for about a month. I did find a company that did custom gold rings with custom prints but I wasn’t sure about their details and work. So I ordered a custom ring in silver sterling to get an idea of what I would be getting. I wasn’t happy with customer service or the work on the ring. I started my search again. This time I messaged Foya I asked if they would help me with a gold band with custom paw prints. They said yes . This was awesome . I started working with Katja , she helped with the design. She very knowledgeable and helpful . I got my ring and it is beautiful. I highly recommend Foya .
