Advent Patchwork 2022 - PDF Patchwork Pattern in French

This real e-book of more than 40 pages is the ideal pattern to start patchwork. It covers and describes in detail the basic techniques of patchwork (explanations and descriptions of the blocks and patchwork modules, cutting, assembly, ironing techniques, etc.) and gives you all the instructions to make 24 traditional patchwork blocks, with increasing difficulty but accessible even to people who have never made patchwork. Dozens of clear and color diagrams allow you to clearly visualize each step.

Required level: Ideal for beginners in patchwork

The pattern offers 1 size, Sofa Throw, but in 2 options (with or without sashing, a border that is added around each of the 24 blocks):
- Sofa throw without sashing (120 cm x 180 cm // 48" x 72")
- Sofa throw with sashing (150 cm x 220 cm // 58" x 86")
The model presented in this product sheet was made with sashing.

This pattern is directly taken from the Quilt-Along (QAL - literally "let's quilt together") that I launched on Instagram in December 2022. The idea was to sew a patchwork block per day for 24 days (on the principle of an Advent calendar), then to assemble these blocks to make a sofa throw in the form of a Sampler Quilt (in other words a quilt that brings together samples of patchwork blocks).
Every day in December, I gave the assembly instructions for the block of the day. This project, which I had launched somewhat by chance, I admit, generated a craze that I did not expect at all. More than a hundred people took part in the game during the month of December, trusting me blindly (the blocks were revealed one by one, each day) and creating versions, each more beautiful than the last. Then many other versions, just as magnificent, saw the light of day during the following months.

Included in the pattern: fabric yardage needed, all cutting and assembly instructions, diagrams, a blank coloring chart, tips, etc.
