Highlights
I tied and sold thousands of these while I lived in Anchorage. They're the mainstay for fishing for Sockeye Salmon (Reds) in the Russian and Kenai River systems - which are designated as "Fly Fishing Only" areas.
They're tied with real "Bucktail" (just like in the old days) rather than the artificial "Fish Hair". And I used the famous 5x Strong, Mustad #36717 hook. Plus, the heads have been glued twice to ensure max durability.
Make sure you get enough. Because If you've already fished in Alaskan rivers, you know how many flies you can go through in a day. I actually used to give them away for free, on the river, to other fishermen who had run out of flies.
Well, thanks for stopping by and HAPPY FISHING!!!
