Vintage KASTEHELMI Glass Plates Set Oiva Toikka Finnish Design

In the 1960s, Finnish glass designer Oiva Toikka created his Kastehelmi series. "Kastehelmi" means "dew drop" in Finnish. The design features large and small drop-like dots that enhance their brilliance in the light, creating a very beautiful expression.

These brown Kastehelmi plates are in excellent vintage condition and appear to been rarely used. The diameter of the plates is 14 cm, and they were produced from 1973 to 1977. They are ideal for use as small side plates, dessert plates, bread plates, or plates for cake or buns. The price is for a set of six plates in the original box. The plastic lid of the box is no longer in perfect condition.
