They are cut based upon a standard size ultex guitar pick of approximately 2.5mm of thickness, and polished to a high gloss, though being handmade the size and shape varies from pick to pick.
The agate replacement of the bone structure means this material is harder than steel, and therefore will wear down much slower than your normal plastic pick.
It also means that there is no muting of the strings due to a soft material, giving the picks an unmatched tone, clarity and sustain.
These picks are playable, but they are also beautiful collectors pieces produced in limited numbers.
At request I can drill a hole at the top and add a chain free of charge.

This item hit on a couple levels. First, using stone material for guitar pick gives an interesting tone. Gem grade dino bone (agate) is super cool. Kudos to the maker for selecting robust carnivore (small cells) because this will wear better, less chance of breakage over time because the matrix is stronger…. Ok I got really analytical, but I’m digging it.
