This listing is for a pair of gorgeous Vintage Crown TRIFARI Teardrop Clip On Earrings. These glamorous earrings are rhodium plated and have a prong set square, clear rhinestones and clear teardrop rhinestone pendants which are foiled back. Clip on fastening both of which are hallmarked with the maker’s mark: TRIFARI.

All stones are present and they are in good vintage condition. There is some wear to the reverse but is commensurate with age. (Please look closely at the pictures as part of the description).

HISTORY:

Trifari has been one of the most respected and admired producers of costume jewellery of the twentieth century employing some of the best designers. One of those designers was the french designer, Alfred Phillipe. His exceptional designs and craftsmanship are what make Trifari so collectable today. The company patented its own non-tarnish, gold tone alloy, Trifanium. Around 1937 Trifari incorporated a crown into its hallmark although after a dispute this had to be removed in the 1970’s. Trifari became part of the Monet group in 1994.

Vintage Jewellery isn’t new so may not be in perfect condition. I do try to reflect, as accurately as I can, the condition of each piece in the description. Please read this carefully.
