Japanese Matchbook Art Coasters: Handmade Wood Coaster Set

General Description:
These coasters measures approximately 4”x 4.”. Each coaster is entirely handmade from poplar wood. They are also entirely cork backed to protect your furniture and prevent the coaster from slipping. These coasters are sealed with an FDA compliant Food Safe epoxy resin that is BPA free. This resin is commonly used for counter tops, table tops, cutting boards and other items frequently used in the kitchen. These coasters are waterproof and water resistant on the surface, they can also withstand temperatures up to about 145 degrees Fahrenheit (63 degrees Celsius). Coaster Care:
While these coaster are waterproof on the top surface, the corked backing is not. Therefor, these coasters can not be submerged in water for extended periods of time or washed in the dishwasher. To clean the coasters, simply wipe the surface with a damp cloth or sponge.

Everything on my shop is handmade from start to finish by me in my workshop in Shallowater, Texas. I strive for as little waste as possible and used recycled wood and shipping materials as often as they are available to me. I am passionate about wood crafts and enjoy expanding my skill set daily. Crafting and carpentry are my primary way of supporting my family so I am grateful to you for your support.

Although I strive for consistency, each coaster set is individually, and uniquely handmade so there may be some slight variants in color, texture, the cut of the paper or wood. I am not perfect and neither is my work, but I do try my best to make pieces that are enjoyable and of good quality.
