Our hand woven Medium Adult Adirondack Basket has solid hickory runners and a poplar inner base. The homemade natural black walnut stain gives this basket our custom antiqued look. With adjustable dark blue cotton straps, the basket is made to be worn by a medium to small sized adult. Perfect for a day trip foraging in the forest, or carrying all your needs at the shore. The leather handle allows this basket to hang in the kitchen, mudroom, office, or anywhere you need extra storage. Use it for outdoor gear, beach towels, camping, hiking, or yoga equipment. Using nature and functionality for inspiration, our baskets are handcrafted with care in our studio tucked in a small valley in the heart of Vermont. With 30 years of weaving experience, Sue takes great pride in creating heirloom quality pieces for you to use and enjoy. Every basket is unique as they are all shaped by hand without the use of moulds. Variations in the way the reed has accepted the paint or stain help give the basket its unique character. Every basket is signed by Sue at completion.
