This bowl is perfect for many types of foods including large salads, pasta, soup, or popcorn. I often use mine for the main meal and large salads as well as a small serving bowl for a bunch of grapes and many other items.

These bowls can be made to order in 10 matte glaze colors. I make sure that made to order bowls will stack as a set where as some of these bowls may have a little less uniformity.

Sometimes the bowls in this listing have cosmetic flaws referred to as Wabi-Sabi*. Wabi-sabi imperfects will be noted next to the color in the drop down menu, and depending on the flaw, these bowls are sometimes reduced in price.

* Wabi-sabi (侘寂) is the Japanese aesthetic and world view that embraces imperfection in art. Wabi-sabi is based on these three principals: nothing lasts, nothing is finished, and nothing is perfect. This is a view that as a ceramic artist I choose to live by because the clay medium is full of surprises. My cabinets are full of Wabi-Sabi pieces. I often prefer them because they are one of a kind:)

Measurements on handmade bowls are approximate in dimensions and volume:
8.25" diameter x 1.75" high
holds approximately 4 cups of liquid and more for solids.
