PLEASE NOTE that there is a 5-7.5 cm gap in the back opening, depending on how tight you lace it. This allows you to have a more relaxing fit or, by tightening the lacing, a more restricting fit. This also makes it fit your figure even if you lose or gain weight.

This corset is made with:
100% cotton fabric
Handset grommets
3 meters of cotton lacing ribbon
synthetic whalebone boning*

*Since whalebone is not available nowadays for obvious reasons. This is the most historically accurate commercially available corset boning. Both whalebone and synthetic whalebone accommodate the shape of your body as your body heat slowly softens the material.

It's preferred that you wear your stays on top of another garment, not on the skin.

Stays are not easy to wash. We recommend hand washing in lukewarm water in affected areas. Dry hanging is also recommended.
If you want to achieve an authentic look stays were always worn on top of a shift or other dress-like undergarments. Let your stays air out for a while after wearing. With a garment underneath, the amount of sweat that gets through to the stays should be minimal, and even then proper airing should make it unnecessary to wash the stays.

You can lace up your stays to create quite a snug fit at first, and fasten it later when the feeling of being compressed wears off. As long as you don't feel uncomfortable, it isn't too tight.

Love the corset, fits well, made well. Like i said in my review of the skirt because i bought both, the chemise is not included and i feel like that should be mentioned or a possibility to add one to the outfit for extra charge. No other issues to report though ❤️
