This is such a versatile pattern. You can change the look completely depending on your colour choices and layout. Use as many or few colours as you like.

Make it any size you like – from cushion to queen bed size. You decide.
Skill level: if you can crochet a granny square and read a pattern (written in US terms) then you can do it! Once you’ve made one square, the rest are a breeze.
Materials used:
8ply yarn gives a nice weight to this design, however it would also work in cotton if you’d like a lighter blanket.
