HOOP REQUIREMENTS

• 89.6x89.2 mm: fits a standard 4x4 hoop with a 100x100 mm embroidery field.
• 98.5x98.1 mm: fits a 4x4 hoop with a full 100x100 mm usable embroidery field. Because this size is close to the hoop limit, check the actual field supported by your machine.
• 108.3x107.9 mm: does not fit a standard 4x4 hoop. Use a 5x7 hoop with a 130x180 mm embroidery field or another hoop with a usable field of at least 108.3x107.9 mm.

All three sizes fit a 5x7 hoop. Always compare the exact design dimensions with the usable embroidery area of your machine before purchasing.

STITCHING TIPS

• This is a filled design with a relatively high stitch count, so firm stabilization is essential.
• For stable woven cotton or linen, use a strong medium-weight tear-away backing. For lighter, soft, or unstable fabric, use cut-away backing to prevent puckering.
• Filmoplast Strong or another self-adhesive embroidery backing is useful for towels and pieces that are difficult to hoop securely.
• On terry cloth, add water-soluble topping so the checkered sections and outlines remain crisp above the pile.
• Use quality 40 wt rayon or polyester embroidery thread with a fresh 80/12 embroidery needle. Test-stitch on the same fabric and stabilizer before embroidering the final item.
