Floral weighted lap pad. Sweet bunnies, mushrooms and flowers on white cotton. The back is made using your choice of olive, peach, or blush dimple dot minky . The weight is evenly distributed throughout and will be filled upon your order. Different weights and sizes are available, so please choose carefully from the drop-down menu. Want a warm blanket for those cold nights? Toss it in the dryer for 10 minutes or more on medium heat. You can also put your blanket in a bag and then in the freezer to beat the summer heat.

Weighted blankets and lap pads are great for those living with dementia, Alzheimer's, PTSD, ADHD, autism, restless leg syndrome, anxiety, insomnia, and sensory processing disorders. They are also great for a calming effect.

Please note: Never use on children under 2 years old. Please consult your OT before using. The recommended weight is approximately 10% of your child's weight plus one pound. I can not offer any guarantee the blanket will work. If you have any questions about the use of a weighted blanket please speak with your therapist. I cannot be responsible for the misuse of the blanket in any way, including the treatment of the blanket. Be careful not to cut the fabric as you will lose the filling. All my blankets are double stitched on the inside and stitched around the outside as well to help ensure a lasting product. Blankets may be washed on the gentle cycle and dried on low heat or air-dried.

Blankets are filled with glass beads. Glass beads are safe but like all small objects can pose a choking hazard. Please treat your blanket with care and do not allow blankets to be cut open. Blankets should always be used responsibly and occasionally be checked for tears. If you tear a blanket please dispose of beads immediately and do not allow children to play with them. Please always supervise children using weighted blankets. By placing an order you are releasing me from any and all liability. If you are purchasing a blanket as a gift you accept and agree that you will inform the recipient of the above precautions.

💦 Care Instructions for Your Blanket
Washing: Wash in cold water on a delicate cycle, either with other linens or hand wash. Avoid washing with items that could tear or damage the fabric.
Agitators: The blanket is heavy, so be sure to use only the gentle cycle to prevent damage. Limit washing when possible to maintain the blanket’s integrity.
Top-Loading Washers: Heavier blankets may cause off-balance issues. If this happens, gently spread the blanket evenly in the washer and continue the spin cycle.
Drying: Dry on low heat only. To speed up drying, add sheets or bedding (without zippers or sharp edges). Avoid drying with lint-producing items. Alternatively, air-dry by hanging over a drying line or chair.
Air Drying: Air drying is recommended to increase the blanket's lifespan.
Other Care:
Do not iron, dry clean, or bleach.
Protect from pets: Avoid sharp nails, beaks, or teeth that could rip the fabric.
Handle Tears: In case of a tear, vacuum up the beads. The blanket will still function well because of the multiple pockets.
Safety: The filler is non-toxic but could pose a choking hazard to children.

All my blankets come with glass beads. I do not charge extra. My blankets are also made with each pocket being less than 4". Smaller pockets mean a more even weight distribution and a more effective blanket. There's no need for an extra cover.

My workspace is located in my home. While I don’t use perfumes, air fresheners, oils, or added scents in my office, and my home is smoke-free, there may occasionally be a light scent present—whether from fabric dye or simply the natural environment of a lived-in space. If you’re sensitive to scents, I recommend washing the item or letting it air out before use.

I do take steps to minimize any scent transfer by using a dehumidifier and an air purifier with a carbon filter in my workspace. That said, my home, like all homes, isn't completely scent-free. I clean regularly and use personal products such as shampoo, deodorant, and lotion (not perfumed, just Gold Bond).

If a completely scent-neutral item is essential for you, I kindly ask that you consider this before purchasing. Just as store-bought clothing may carry a scent from the shop, your handmade item may carry a subtle trace of my home.
