We hit ALL the buttons when creating this shampoo and conditioner pair! Gentle, with no animal products, this contains some fantastic oils, and for the first time, with kpangnan butter! The wheat germ and jojoba oils are so glorious for hair that it's hard to define it completely. We used red kaolin clay, as well as a healthy dose of beetroot powder--both of which are said to be spectacular for cleansing and protecting the scalp.

Kpangnan butter is often used to help clear out the old sebum (the waxy stuff inside hair follicles that may be one cause of hair fall), and allowing clean sebum to form--essential for keeping hair happy and intact. Moringa oil infused with REAL Dragon's Blood tree resin was added, and oh my... just delicious. The jojoba feeds hair so well, and the wheat germ oil penetrates hair, allowing for smoothing. This also has the coco betaine (from coconut) that is so gentle in its cleansing, along with silk proteins (peptides) and veggie keratin! Vitamin E and DL Panthenol (ProVitamin B-5) were also used, along with biotin for clean, strong hair. The beetroot in this is certified organic, and has been used for many, many years as a hair masque or treatment for smooth, shiny hair, feeding scalp and giving body to hair.

As I mentioned above, real Dragon's Blood tree resin was used in this, along with a natural fragrance oil. This is the truest dragon's blood scent I've ever found, and I hope you love it as much as I do! Warm, soft, with vanilla overtones and a slightly spicy-sweetness that can't be described... if pressed, I'd say it smells somewhat like a true Nag Champa scent.

The conditioner contains the same oils as the shampoo with one addition: argan oil, which is spectacular stuff. It's got veggie keratin, silk peptides, DL Panthenol, vitamin E, and of course, the every wonderful BTMS, which comes from the rapeseed plant. It has cetyl for conditioning, also from coconut!

They are ecologically friendly, wrapped in glassine-paper (no wax, no plastic!) and with biodegradable labels, too! With these, there are no plastic bottles to go into a landfill. No plastic bottles to end up in the ocean. :) Just an eco-friendly bar of great shampoo or conditioner, in eco-friendly paper!

The shampoo bars weigh 3 oz, and the conditioner just over 2 oz. Keep the bars out of standing water, and allow to dry between uses for best, longest lasting results. The shampoo bar lasts a bit longer than a typical 16 oz bottle of shampoo, and the conditioner bar lasts longer even than that, typically.

As we said above, our goal is to provide eco-friendly products, which won't add anything more to landfills or the ocean, so we package our bars in fully biodegradable paper.
