"Winter Drawers On!"
Wild swimmers, dressing in the cold, tangled in dryrobes, trying to put on knickers with cold hands. Together with their swim buddies, and yet separated in their own individual struggle of putting on a pair of pants!

This is an unframed print of one of my drawings.
All prints are archival quality pigment inks and paper, printed by me and signed by hand.
The smallest print will be board-backed and wrapped in cellophane, the larger ones will come rolled in a sturdy protective tube.

This picture is about the difficulty of getting dressed when very cold; the urgency to get warm clothes on, and how the colder we get, the less we worry about being properly 'decent'. It's also about the camaraderie of winter swimming and the humour of these situations, as about how, when you dress you are both completely on your own in your own struggle and difficulties, and at the same time completely part of a group. In the distance to the right, there is a a little glimpse of Clevedon Pier: this is the beach where I swim.
