Theres always an element of the unknown w vintage mechanical items. The 70s wind up I purchased was even better than its foto! ... But very sadly, the journey to reach me proved too much, and the clock only works intermittently. Melanie was amazing - provided me a full refund and not necessary to ship back. Clock looks fab in my kitchen, whether or not it gets repaired . 🙂
