Rag Quilts and Rag Quilted items wash beautifully! Machine wash separately in cold water, gentle cycle. Tumble dry on low heat. The first few times you wash your rag quilt or rag quilted items there will be a little more raveling and a little lint. This is normal because of the ragged edges. You may need to use a lint brush after the first few washings. My rag quilts are very durable!

Custom and personalized orders

Customized orders are done in the order I receive them. If you are wanting to personalize or customize an already made quilt, I can have it ready to ship in 1-3 days.

My baby quilts are ideal for the crib too. They are approximately 36" x 42". My second size of quilts generally measure 42" x 48". They can be used as an adult lap quilt, decorative throw, and are the perfect size for a toddler too. I have had customers purchase my butterfly quilts and use them for a child's blanket. I also make them specifically for a child using children's theme fabrics. At this time I do not make bed size quilts. My small sewing machine cannot handle the stress of a large quilt.

My quilted pillow cover has a handmade Christmas tree appliqué on the center square. It is very cute and unique!

I used a variety of homespun cotton fabrics in red, green, wheat, and cream colors to make these rag quilt pillow covers. You will receive one of the pillow covers in my pictures or one very similar.

My appliqués are handmade and machine zig zag stitched onto the pillow cover.

Homespun fabric will sometimes have small imperfections. It’s part of the character and charm of the fabric!

The pillow form is NOT included.

Measurements: 18 1/2"x18 1/2”

An 18" x 18" square pillow insert will fit this pillow cover. The pillow insert is not included.

Pillow covers are great. It gives your pillow longevity. If the pillow form or insert gets flat, you can toss it and replace it with a new insert.

The front of my pillow covers have 3 layers. The top layer is homespun cotton fabric. The second layer is Warm and White Cotton Batting. And the third layer is cream cotton fabric. I quilted each square with a traditional X. The back of the cover is black cotton fabric. I use 100% cotton fabric in all my pillows. My pillow covers are of high quality and soft!

My rag quilted pillow covers are made in the style of rag quilts. The seams are left exposed and carefully snipped to give it that rag effect. The back of this cover is made envelope style. I machine stitched the back to the front twice to give it extra durability and strength.

My pillow covers wash beautifully!
Machine wash separately in cold water, gentle cycle. Tumble dry on low. You may need a lint brush after the first few washings because of the raggedy seams.

You can fluff up the pillow cover after being used by throwing a damp cloth in the dryer with the cover. They fluff up nicely!

Please note, I use scented liquid fabric softener in my washing machine.
